Can I still submit external articles?

Yes. Open Submit URLs in your hosted dashboard for URLs on third-party domains. Those batches are separate from your WordPress inventory.

What happens when I disconnect?

Plugin access is revoked. Your website and existing history remain in the workspace. Archiving a website is a separate action.
