Quick summary
- IndexToast sells access to digital services, annual website licences, and Indexing units used on the platform.
- Submitting a URL does not guarantee that it will be crawled, indexed, ranked, or displayed by a search engine.
- We do not refund a purchase solely because a submitted URL is not indexed or is indexed more slowly than expected.
- Refunds or other remedies may be available for billing errors, unauthorised charges, undelivered purchases, or material service defects.
- Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.
1. What you purchase
Digital services and Indexing units
IndexToast provides digital URL-submission, Index Check, website-management, reporting, integration, and related platform services. A purchase may provide an annual website licence, an included recurring allowance, or additional Indexing units.
Indexing units are platform-limited digital value. They may be used only within the purchasing IndexToast account for eligible actions shown in the product. They are not stored money, cannot be transferred or resold unless we expressly agree in writing, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Delivery and expiry
Paid access and purchased units are normally added to your account after successful payment confirmation. Purchased units do not expire solely because time passes and remain with the account when a plan changes. Included plan allowances reset on the cycle described at checkout and may not roll over. Annual licences renew, expire, or end according to the terms shown at checkout and in your billing controls.
2. What the service promises
We provide the platform access and functionality described on our website, dashboard, documentation, and checkout at the time of purchase. Depending on the selected service, this can include accepting and processing URL submissions, running Index Checks, displaying status and history, and providing exports, integrations, or support.
No guaranteed indexing outcome
Buying a licence or units, or submitting a URL, does not guarantee that Google or another third party will crawl, index, rank, or display that URL. Search-engine systems and policies, website quality, content, domain history, technical signals, and third-party limitations are outside our control. A completed submission describes our workflow, not a promised search result.
3. When a monetary refund may be available
Because our products are digital and usually available for immediate use, monetary refunds are not normally provided after access or units have been delivered. We may, however, provide a refund or another legally appropriate remedy in the following circumstances:
- A duplicate or incorrect charge caused by our system or payment processor.
- A verified unauthorised or fraudulent transaction.
- You were charged but the licence or purchased units were not delivered.
- Units were incorrectly removed because of a platform error.
- A significant defect on our side prevents normal use of the purchased service for an extended period.
- The service materially fails to match its description at the time of sale.
- Applicable law requires a refund, cancellation, price reduction, repair, replacement, or another remedy.
4. What generally does not qualify
The following circumstances, by themselves, generally do not qualify for a monetary refund:
- A submitted URL is not indexed, crawled, ranked, or displayed by a search engine.
- Indexing happens more slowly, or at a lower rate, than expected.
- A search engine changes its algorithm, policies, systems, or access.
- You change your mind after digital access or units have been delivered and any applicable withdrawal right has ended.
- You submit an incorrect, inaccessible, prohibited, or technically unsuitable URL.
- You use the service contrary to our instructions or Terms of Service.
We do not automatically refund money or return units solely because a URL remains unindexed, unless a separate written offer expressly says otherwise.
5. How to request a refund or report a problem
Email hello@indextoast.com. Include your account email address, transaction or invoice reference, purchase date, a description of the issue, and relevant screenshots or supporting information. Never email full card details, passwords, API keys, or access tokens.
Please report a billing error, delivery problem, or platform defect within 60 days of the transaction or within 60 days of discovering the issue, whichever is later, unless applicable law provides a longer period.
We review requests in good faith and may ask for reasonably necessary information. Where appropriate and permitted by law, the remedy may be a correction, restored or replacement units, a partial refund, or a full refund. Any refunded purchase may have its unused units removed, and units already consumed may be considered when calculating the remedy.
6. Digital delivery and withdrawal rights
By completing a purchase, you request immediate delivery or activation of the relevant digital service or units. In jurisdictions including the UK, EU, and EEA, consumers may have a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right for certain distance purchases. Where the law permits that right to be lost after immediate digital supply begins, the consent and acknowledgement presented at checkout may reduce or end that right.
This does not remove mandatory remedies for faulty, defective, or non-conforming digital content or services.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong or unauthorised, contact us first so we can investigate promptly. If a chargeback, reversal, or payment dispute is opened, we may temporarily restrict the related licence, units, or account access while it is reviewed. If the dispute is resolved in our favour, access may remain restricted until the outstanding balance and any recoverable fees are addressed, where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits your rights concerning genuinely unauthorised or fraudulent payment activity.
8. Suspension, termination, and discontinuation
We may suspend or terminate an account under our Terms of Service, including for suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security misuse, or a material breach. Access to unused units may be restricted during an investigation and may be cancelled or forfeited after a confirmed violation to the extent permitted by law. If a restriction was applied in error, we will restore the appropriate access or units.
If IndexToast is discontinued generally for reasons unrelated to your conduct, we will act reasonably and in accordance with applicable law regarding unused paid value. This may include continued access for a reasonable period, replacement value, or a refund where appropriate.
9. Fair use and abuse prevention
Services must be used in good faith and in accordance with our Terms. We may review suspected manipulation of billing, promotions, platform features, or prohibited submissions using relevant account, payment, technical, and usage information. Decisions are made case by case rather than automatically.
10. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or waives a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. Depending on your location, this may include rights concerning faulty digital content or services, repair or replacement, a price reduction, contract termination, or services that do not match their description.
If this policy conflicts with mandatory local law, that law governs to the extent of the conflict and the remaining policy continues to apply.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, business practices, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version here and change the last-updated date above.
