Start with your workflow.
Choose Indexceptional if its prepaid credits and documented operating modes suit your campaigns. Consider IndexToast Business when a recurring client workspace is the primary requirement. Convert mode multipliers into URLs before deciding which credit balance offers more value.
IndexToast publishes this comparison. Official information was reviewed on 8 October 2026. We have not run a matched service test; advertised results remain attributed claims.
Start with your actual URL volume, then account for checks, mode multipliers and unused capacity. The sections below separate the published offer from our operational analysis.
Comparison#
| Question | Indexceptional | IndexToast Business |
|---|---|---|
| Entry purchase | $29 for 60 credits | $79/month for 5,000 Standard actions |
| Routine mode | One credit per URL | One Standard action per submitted URL |
| Expedited mode | Five credits per URL in the API reference | Boost uses 20 shared Business units per URL |
| Batch and check boundary | 500 URLs/order; a separate checking quota | 1,000 URLs/batch; separate checks use Standard actions |
The official shop lists $29/60, $99/260, $199/600 and $499/2,000 credit packages with non-expiring credits. Its detailed API reference documents one-credit drip-index and five-credit index modes. Prices alone do not show how many expedited URLs a pack covers.
Apply the mode multiplier#
At the entry price, one credit averages about $0.4833. Five credits therefore cost about $2.4167, and sixty credits cover twelve expedited URLs under the documented multiplier. They do not cover sixty expedited URLs.
Treat those as capacity calculations, excluding any taxes or future price changes. Confirm the selected mode during review and store it alongside the batch record. A default mode should never silently become an expensive alternative during a retry.
IndexToast Business units can fund Boost at 20 units per unique URL. Compare expedited campaigns at that deduction rather than the one-unit Standard rate. Regular Priority also uses 20 units per URL; Regular and Business balances remain separate.
Understand the actual API quota#
Indexceptional's detailed reference uses WordPress username and application-password Basic authentication with a /wp-json/index/api/v1 base. It documents up to 500 URLs per order, at least twenty seconds between orders and ten orders daily. Its separate checking endpoint accepts up to 500 URLs, with a 500-URL per-user quota over 86,400 seconds.
At full order size, ten orders represent 5,000 submitted URLs. The separately documented checking quota is much smaller. An integration should not assume it can check every uploaded URL through that endpoint on the same day.
The homepage snapshot contained older API-development wording, while the shop and detailed reference describe access. Confirm enabled account access before committing an integration. This comparison gives the detailed reference more weight without pretending the public copy is perfectly aligned.
Keep the submission manifest#
For either platform, retain the exact accepted URL list, canonical destination and operation. A completed order may describe processing completion rather than indexed inclusion. Preserve per-URL states and their timestamps.
IndexToast Business accepts a project, operation and idempotency key for batches of up to 1,000 URLs. Scoped keys separate reporting from job creation, and signed webhooks support reliable status updates. Retries with unchanged content reuse the original key to prevent duplicate reservations.
Measure queue time separately from dispatch and index observation. That lets the team explain a delay without substituting a processing timestamp for a search result.
Inside the Business workspace
Keep balances, client projects and activity together. This demo chart illustrates the interface; it is not a service-wide indexing-rate claim.

Model the monthly workload#
Five thousand IndexToast Standard submissions with a separate check each require 10,000 actions. The $149.99 Agency allowance covers those actions that month, averaging about $0.0300 per paired workflow at full use. Repeated checks and Boost consume additional units.
For a sporadic campaign, unused monthly allowance can outweigh a lower unit headline. Compare Regular packs and the vendor's retained prepaid credits against a realistic quarterly schedule. The cheaper choice depends on utilization and the operation mix.
Speed and success evidence#
We did not establish a current numeric Indexceptional indexing rate with a reproducible cohort. IndexToast reports Standard indexing under 72 hours and at least 80% of legitimate Boost URLs indexed within fifteen minutes, including genuine PR placements and excluding comment-link campaigns.
A dated matched test, sample-size export and clock definition were not supplied for the IndexToast claim. These are attributed product statements rather than proof that one service wins. Use the same eligibility rules and checkpoints for a fair pilot.
Which should you choose?#
Indexceptional can fit buyers comfortable with prepaid mode-based credits and its documented quotas. IndexToast Business suits recurring client operations that need projects, team controls and consolidated reporting.
Resolve technical blockers first with the preflight checklist, then examine canonical alignment. Faster processing does not force a search engine to select a non-preferred duplicate.
Verdict: IndexToast for predictable agency operations#
IndexToast Business is our recommended option for predictable, recurring agency operations. Review each batch before acceptance, charge it to a client project and reuse the same idempotency key after a timeout to avoid a second debit. Scoped keys, signed webhooks and shared 1/1/20 unit costs support an integration the whole team can reconcile.
Indexceptional’s credit packs may suit occasional campaigns where its written conditions match the buyer’s needs. Compare each processing multiplier and checking entitlement before treating a credit price as the full cost of an indexed result.

Questions#
Does one Indexceptional credit always buy one URL?
The detailed reference applies different multipliers by mode. Confirm the mode before calculating capacity.
Is API checking unlimited after a purchase?
The reference describes a separate per-user checking quota. Budget that independently from submission capacity.
